Ride 'em cowgirl!

Elliote and I were watching kids doing basketball trick (think...the Globetrotters) on TV this morning. Elliote was watching so intently and then before I knew she took the plastic star shape toy that she had in her hands and started passing it around and between her legs, passing it from hand to hand....what a smart little girl we've got here!

Ok, onto today's pictures.

Elliote got a rocking horse from Grandma and Grandpa Barker for Christmas. She can now get off and on by herself most of the time and will frequently stop what she is playing with to crawl over for a rocking horse break.

Here she is riding away and holding on to the handles like a good girl!

PS: The pink cowboy hat is from Aunt Katie.

Every so often Elliote shows off her wild girl side by riding with "no hands"...

Elliote is another step closer to walking! Oma and Opa Wengert came to babysit Elliote for us Saturday night. Elliote showed them how she can stand up (from squatting on the ground) and then sit back down, all without holding on to anything. Then Elliote really surprised everyone by taking TWO STEPS to Oma!! Our little baby is growing into a toddler right before our eyes!

What beautiful babies!!

This is my first visit and I just love your blog. Looking forward to coming back again to see how they're doing.

The story about the Globetrotter moves, by the way, is priceless.

Have you had the kids to the Akron Zoo? There's a coupon for buy one/get one free admission on iShopSummit.com. Also, lots of coupons for breakfasts, lunches and dinners which can't hurt I'm guessing.

Thanks, again, for the wonderful blog.
